Len Coover has been an avid hunter and trapper all his life, actually since he was old enough and it was legal for him to carry a gun. Len himself  has taken several bear and deer that were big enough to make the Maine Antler and Skull Record Book.

Len has been guiding hunts in northern Maine for over 25 years, is a life member of the Maine Professional Guide association, National Rifle Association, Sportsmen Alliance of Maine, and also a life member of the North American Hunting Club.

Gods Country Guide Service is a family business, which has been welcoming hunters for over twenty years. Each member of he family gets involved during the hunting season. Lens great wife Pat and daughter's Lenore and Rachel are all nurses who enjoy taking the time off from caring for their patients, to care for hunters appetites. Len's three sons Matt, Lenny Jr., and Adam are also all great helpers. Matt helps full time -  year round with the guiding business. Lenny Jr., owns his own logging truck business but also makes the time to help when needed around the camps with hunters. Lens youngest son Adam is a Maine Stat Trooper and each year has scheduled his vacation time so as to help guide the hunters. Matt and Adam are also registered Maine Guides. Len has thirteen grandchildren all who enjoy the business as much as their parents.
